Leather x Fringe

You ever wondered why you wait so long to wear a certain item? This fringe chiffon top has been sitting in my closet all winter. The weather was nice today, so I ran to the closet for inspiration. You can never go wrong with black and white with a pop of red.

Spring Vibes

Spring is off to a late start than usual. So the moment I felt some warm weather, I ran outside to blog! This look is another "mix and match" outfit that I put together with pieces from last year. My new addition are these beige basic sandals from JustFab. I love the simplicity of the shoe because it can be worn in so many different ways.

Hey lovers! I just noticed that I've never done a favorites post on my blog. I always do videos, but this so much easier of course.

1. Black Opal True Color Stick Foundation | Hazelnut

This brand has been in drugstores for theeeee longest and I never thought to try it out. I have been loving my Revlon Color Stay foundation for the past few years, so I never ventured out. Although I love Revlon,  I realized that it is too heavy for everyday use. I heard rave reviews from YT beauty Beatfacehoney, so I figured why not. I love the way this product applies on the skin. Its very smooth, but not too creamy. It is medium-full coverage. My only issue is the color. I purchased Hazelnut which is about 1 shade too light. This color is great for natural highlighting on deep skin. I will have to purchase Suede Mocha to mix for my perfect match.

2. MAC Flat Out Fabulous Lipstick (Matte)

This lipstick was hyped up just like every other new MAC lipstick that comes out. I wasn't in a rush to get it. When I saw it in person it was a winner. My everyday makeup looks are pretty simple, so I love a bold lipstick.

3. MAKEUP FOREVER Aqua Brow #30

I never planned to pick up this product, but to my surprise its a new favorite. I initially tried out the "overly hyped" Anastasia Brow Pomade. It wasn't the worst product, but the color range didn't compliment my skin tone. Both chocolate and dark brown came off ashy on the skin. So I returned the brow pomade. One of the associates at Sephora recommended Makeup Forever's Aqua Brow. It is a bit pricey at $20, but a little goes a long way. This is a liquid product so it does require a little more time to apply. I tested Aqua Brow in the water because it is said to be waterproof. It definitely held up. I still use my NYX brow powder when I'm in a rush, but Aqua Brow still gets attention when I have the time. :)

4. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish | Dark Deep

Last but not least, is my old new found favorite. I purchased this when it was first released, but at the time I didn't feel it was worth $30 bucks. However, this powder is worth every penny. It provides the most gorgeous finish to the skin. Normally powders leave a very matte, dry finish. I love the fact that this powder leaves a healthy glow without looking too shimmery. I don't know why I stopped using this product!

What are some of your current favorites?
